We are proud to be included in the group of 31 medium-sized companies who received this honor this year, particularly as it reflects success in our commitment to our team. We are particularly proud of this accomplishment because it is a direct reflection of employee satisfaction at E&W. This honor is awarded based on two metrics; first, any business that registers provides an assessment of their employer policies, workplace culture, and the ways they help their team to thrive in their careers. Next, multiple employees are independently and anonymously surveyed about how they feel about their workplace, giving honest answers. The employee answers are weighted to make up 80% of the overall score, and the employer response makes up the remaining 20%.
Employee satisfaction is the main reason we have received this honor, which reinforces for us more than anything that we continue to make strong choices when we emphasize safety in all our work, prioritize our service to our team, and create a workplace culture that ensures our team can approach their work with a positive attitude each day.
