POSITION SUMMARY

Constructs, maintains, and remodels buildings or other related structures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Installs framing, sheeting, form work, edge forms, wall form systems, bracing and alignment components using various tools and equipment.
  • Builds scaffolds and scaffold shoring.
  • Assists with creating layout for wall plate lines for framing and concrete walls.
  • Follows blueprints and plans to ensure requirements and specifications are met.
  • Assists with excavation, grade work, demolition operations, concrete prep, placement and finishing using necessary tools.
  • Assists with the training of helpers and/or other employees.
  • Identifies and addresses potential safety hazards.
  • Adheres to all safety protocols and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 2 years related industry experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Good communications and organization skills
  • Self-motivated and customer focused

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 10% sitting, 45% walking, and 45% standing. The job is performed outdoors, indoors and in various geographic locations.
