With a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the grand opening of our new Fabrication Shop, East & Westbrook expanded our steel fabrication capacity, to meet our customer's needs with every project.
BUCKNER, KY - On October 10, 2023, East & Westbrook brought its fabrication team together to mark a major milestone: a celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand opening of our new fabrication shop. After a celebratory meal in the new shop with our fellow colleagues and community, our president, Jonathan Westbrook, and the rest of the team proudly cut the ribbon, officially re-opening our expanded FabShop for business.
East & Westbrook’s steel fabrication is foundational to the ongoing growth and success of the company. Our executive management team took note of its importance, seeing a need to expand our fabrication abilities to meet our growing industrial and commercial construction capacity, and has invested in a new 12,000sf fabrication facility to meet that need.
Our fabrication shop began as a section of our original 5,000sf company office in Buckner, KY, to service our concrete division. As East & Westbrook has grown, the need for growth in our steel fabrication capacity has become clear.
The new FabShop built as a remodel and expansion of the previous East & Westbrook headquarters in Buckner, KY, boasts 12,000sf of workspace and skilled team members and is set up to allow our fabrication division to craft, bend, cut, and mold steel, with space and equipment to meet our customers’ needs.
Our team’s knowledge and experience mean their steel fabrication is top-of-the-line. Their work can meet the needs of any industrial or commercial construction project we take on, including beams, columns, floor decking, staircases, access ladders, steel bollards, embedded angles, anchor cans, and an array of custom steel pieces.
